We’ve learnt a lot about ehealth since pitching our concept for an online therapy referral hub for IAPT to the NHS’ SBRI innovation funding board last year. The case was clear: IAPT services are under enormous strain, and must find new ways of working if they are to keep up with growing demand.
Evidence was emerging that online therapy could achieve the same quality and recovery rates as traditional forms of therapy. It became apparent that ehealth tools were one way to help relieve the burden on services. Our innovation had the potential to bring services together with online therapy securely, streamlining that transaction.
Today, our referral hub, Prism is up and running as a pilot. We’re working with four leading providers of ehealth, and IAPT services see the potential and are keen to implement Prism locally.
What we’ve learnt so far on this journey could be of great benefit to IAPT services. At the IAPT & Ehealth Summit we’ll share our key findings and provide practical steps that will help you to overcome organisational challenges and adopt ehealth to support your IAPT service. At the event, we’ll cover:
- The business case for ehealth in mental healthcare
- Selecting the best ehealth tools for your service
- Evidence for the effectiveness of online therapies
- Common commissioning challenges
Our event on the 27th November in central London will bring together service providers, eHealth specialists, commissioners, researchers, commissioners and policy makers to discuss the challenges that still remain for the adoption of eHealth in mental healthcare and will provide you with practical steps toward adopting ehealth across IAPT services.
The event is free, but spaces are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. You can register for your place here.
