We recently deployed new dashboards in iaptus, allowing you to easily track and view your service’s performance against the new 6 and 18 week targets by the NHS England definition.
These reports enable you to view the information in both graph and table format. They include a filter which allows you to choose which CCG to display.
The example dashboards below take every referral that completed a course of treatment which ended within a particular period, and show how long the patient waited for their first treatment appointment. They also show the proportion of people that waited both 6 and 18 weeks or less, to allow easy comparisons with the national targets.
The first dashboard calculates the wait time from the referral date to the date of the first treatment and then groups the referrals into those waiting 6 weeks or less, 7-18 weeks and over 18 weeks.
The second dashboard calculates from the referral to treatment (RTT) clock start date to the date of the first treatment. The RTT clock start date is calculated as either the referral date or the date of the first DNA, if applicable. The waiting time is then grouped into 6 weeks or less, 7-18 weeks and over 18 weeks.
You may also have noticed that we have expanded the range of lines for the KPIs. All 18 lines are available on the Dashboards and can be viewed by CCG.
Over the next year we will be releasing more new dashboard reports to help you understand and present your data.
