On Twitter last night, @WEMHNurses of We Communities held a lively discussion around the issues raised by the Mental Health Taskforce paper, The Five Year Forward View for Mental Health.
We Mental Health Nurses describes itself as being “a Twitter meeting place for mental health nurses and those interested in mental health”. Joining in the conversation were people working in both clinical and operational roles within the NHS, as well those working and studying within higher education.
The discussion was hosted by @MarkOneinFour, and you can read it in full here. Below, we’ve pulled out some highlights.

@WeMHNurses i dont think it is wrong but i think there needs to be more legislation not just guidance, best practice often ignored. #wemhns

@WeMHNurses It's a welcome report but sadly I for one will only believe it when promises are kept and the reforms are delivered. #wemhns
