The Future in Mind report recommended that the collection of Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs) be embedded in the CYP IAPT programme, stating that the collection of quality data is key to making improvements across children and young people’s mental health services.
We’re delighted that Polly Waite, Clinical Psychologist and Director of the Anxiety and Depression in Young People (AnDY) Research Clinic in Berkshire will be joining us to speak at IAPT Connect 2017.
The AnDY Research Clinic is based in the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences at the University of Reading. It works closely with Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust CAMHS Anxiety and Depression Pathway to deliver clinical services for children and young people aged 7 to 17 year olds before they reach CAMHS. The clinic also undertakes research into the development, maintenance and treatment of these disorders.
At IAPT Connect 2017, Polly will talk to us about the clinic’s work and about meaningful use of ROMs with young people in clinical sessions.
