Meet the Team Attending Open Forum’s CYPMH Conference in London

by Louisa - 7th November 2022

CYPMH

Mayden is the headline sponsor of Open Forum’s CYPMH conference in London on the 17th November 2022. We will be speaking and exhibiting at the event, where we look forward to connecting with charities, NHS Trusts and other providers of mental health support to children and young people in the UK.

Read on to meet the team, and watch the video below to find out more about the day. We will be hosting a lunch time talk and offering a free prize draw to win a luxury hamper filled with hand-picked products from local businesses in Bath.

Join us for our lunchtime talk:

Grab some food and drop by our stand in the Networking area at 1:45pm where our very own Martin Davies (profile below) will provide you with a ‘lunch and learn’ overview of the UK’s leading digital care record for mental health services. Find out how iaptus CYP supports services like yours to deliver high quality and consistent care to children and young people.

CYPMH

If you’re unable to attend the lunch and learn on the day, don’t worry. We will be hosting a webinar on November 30th. During this webinar, we will take you through our system and answer any questions you may have. We’ll also be sharing some key learning from the services that have taken part in our recent events and from our experience of supporting mental health services across the country.

Who will be attending the CYPMH conference from Mayden?

Helen Barnes - CYPMH Champion

CYPMH

Helen champions projects that help mental health services to improve outcomes for patients, particularly children and young people. Helen will be on stage at 10:30am to welcome our guest speakers, Sarah Cox, Service Manager Mental Health and Wellbeing, Young Somerset and Kate Gallagher, Clinical Lead, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust who will be speaking on the topic of “Early Intervention Support for Children and Young People aged 5-16 years.

“I always enjoy meeting the speakers and delegates at Open Forum’s CYP mental health conferences. On this occasion, I’m particularly looking forward to hearing the Keynote address from Charlotte Rainer, Coalition Lead at the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition.”

Martin Davies - Client Onboarding & Product Lead

Martin ensures that services have an easy transition to adopting iaptus CYP. He’s a regular feature at the events that Mayden attends and hosts. He will be leading our ‘lunch and learn’ on the day, providing you with an introduction to the iaptus CYP digital care record and how the features support CYPMH services.

“Having recently attended the Open Forum student mental health conference in Manchester, I’m interested to hear about the early intervention grief education programme at Brunel University led by Elaine Tabony. Our digital care record, iaptus, supports both CYP and student counselling services and, more recently, gambling addiction services so I’m also thrilled to hear from Anita Gundecha, who’ll be speaking about gambling and gaming harms and how GamCare supports young people and their mental health”

Kabir Saini - Customer Account Manager

CYP

Kabir looks after a number of our CYP customers, including Young Somerset who will be speaking alongside Mayden at the Open Forum event. As a dedicated Account Manager, he’s available to help with any queries our customers might have.

“As the Account Manager for Young Somerset, I’m looking forward to their talk alongside Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. I have a keen interest in how CYP services are using data to drive improvements and how the digital tools in our system, iaptus CYP, can best support them.”

Jane Wrigley - Client Onboarding & Project Lead

CYPMH

Jane works alongside Martin as a member of our client onboarding team at Mayden. Jane ensures that your service is in safe hands as you transition to adopting the iaptus CYP system. She also provides technical support to our Customer Support Team and has a key role to play in service migrations and mergers.

“I’ve worked closely with a lot of NHS Trusts over the years, helping them to adopt iaptus. Therefore, I’m excited to hear from both Dr Guy Northover, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as well as the clinical leads from Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.”

Don’t forget to reserve your place at our ‘lunch and learn’ and stop by at the Mayden stand on the day to say hello to our friendly team. If you haven’t already booked a delegate ticket, there’s still time and we look forward to seeing you there!
