Join us on Wednesday, 3 April at a workshop to discuss the importance of collecting good quality data about activity and outcomes in improving mental health services for children and young people.
Children and young people’s (CYP) mental health services are striving to ensure earlier access to specialist treatment for children who need it, to collect and make use of good quality data about the services they provide, and ultimately to improve young people’s journeys through mental health treatment.
We are running a workshop to help services that are looking for advice and support on Wednesday, 3 April at the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust site in Prestwich, Manchester.
On the day you will learn:
- How your service can efficiently collect and report data on the Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS)
- How you can routinely report to local commissioners on NHS funded activity
- How your service can use data effectively to manage waiting times
- How therapists can use outcomes measures routinely with young people in a way that benefits their treatment
- Ways to streamline the admin tasks you do each day in order to make efficiency savings
- How to safely and securely share data within service teams, across multiple locations
The workshop will be hosted by the team providing iaptus CYP – the patient management system designed to support CYP mental health teams to streamline admin, manage and securely store clinical records electronically, and to collect data on service activity and outcomes.
It will be of interest to managers and commissioners of CYP mental health services run by both NHS providers and voluntary sector providers. You will hear directly from those using the system and have the opportunity to see iaptus CYP in action.
Tickets are free of charge but places are limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
